Nokia releases its most affordable phone, NOKIA 103

Extreme competition in the mobile phone business have compelled Nokia to launch its most affordable and cheapest phone. NOKIA 103, priced at PKR 1500 (USD 15.91 ), has been released all over Pakistan being the most affordable phone in the market but it certainly doesn’t cut back on its features for such a low price range.

The NOKIA 103 SIM-free(meaning that it is not locked on a carrier and comes without a sim). Having a stylish scratch proof cover and a dust resistant keypad. It is a light weighted phone, weighing just 250g with the dimensions of 107mm x 45mm x 50 mm, provided with the 800mA battery it gives a talk time of 11 hours and a staggering stand-by time of 27 days. Other features included in the Nokia 103 are, powerful front torch-light, a FM  radio transmitter which works only with headsets (included), a speaking clock, MP3 grade ring-tones and the standard games.

Unlike other cheap phones in the market right now which just provides a simple  celender and alarm clock, Nokia 103 in addition to basic feature like calender and a speaking clock, considers the sharing of phone between people and provides call tracker and support for multiple phone books as extra features, further more it allows to store up to 250 SMS messages. Nokia 103 is truly, designed for people who find it difficult to afford a phone, but need one to progress economically and socially.

Nokia has now introduced its new Nokia 103 across Pakistan. The mobile phone happens to be Nokia’s most affordable product yet, but it certainly doesn’t cut back on its features for such a low price range. With a plethora of built-in functions, the phone is geared towards first time mobile phone buyers.

Nokia 103 boasts of a new powerful battery providing a talk time of 11 hours and a staggering stand-by time of 27 days, a stylish scratch proof cover and a dust resistant keypad. It is a mobile phone designed for people who find it difficult to afford a phone, but need one to progress economically and socially.  Other features included in the Nokia 103 area powerful front torch-light, a FM radio transmitter which works only with headsets (included), a speaking clock, MP3 grade ring-tones and the standard games.

The mobile phone has been optimized for the needs of the Pakistani masses that are highly price sensitive with the above-mentioned features, and a price of around PKR 1500. The Nokia 103 is a mobile phone which will bring Nokia closer to its goal of connecting the next billion.

  1. Hyn! NO! I’v seen other phones having mp3 player, dual sim, etc for the same price. It may be the cheapest if you do not consider the chinese knock-offs.
